This was one i could tell my mum about
It was pretty weird to have gone from being 10 and listening to 'Plans' in my mums beaten up Holden, to being 23 at the time and patching their vocal chain. Whilst I didn't have a lot to do with the creation of the track, to understand their tracking process and to patch everything/ put it all into action was a really cool experience for me. Also Scott Horscroft is a knowledgable man. The one thing I took away from this experience was when I asked him if he wanted me to quantise the bass, to which he replied 'I don't want to take the human out of it'. I liked that. I think about that a lot
